reported. >> a 19-year-old-- who was a passenger in a group of cars that had stopped to change a tire-- is vallejo's 20th homicide of the year. vallejo police say at around 11 p-m on saturday-- the victim was shot and killed by bullets fired from a passing white s-u-v with tinted windows four other people in the group were hurt. according to vallejo police the group was from south san francisco heading to a party. the victim's name has not been released. police said the motive was not clear and it appears that there was just one gunman. >> oakland police are investigating a deadly shooting near the oh- dot- co coliseum. a man was found suffering from a gun shot wound earlier sunday. he was taken to a hospital where he died. police say the incident is not connected to sunday's raiders game, even though it happened nearby. at this time police have no

suspect in the shooting. >> a memorial service was held for the santa rosa teen shot and killed by a sheriff's deputy. deputies say 13-year-old, andy lopez, was carrying a replica assault weapon when he was shot and killed. the police department later found out that gun wasn't real. >> he had dreams and someone took that away from him. he had a life to live and he only was able to live it to 13. that is hard. >> hundreds gathered at his memorial service sunday. maligned >> a sea of mourners wore white shirts with photos of andy on them. the family says the teen and his siblings are good children that were raised well. they say they will have an account set up for people who would like to donate to andy lopez's funeral.

>> the men sampras's go police say shot after an attempted robbery and assault in the marina district remains in the hospital this morning. the incident happened about 1:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon. police say that the suspect tried to rob someone using the atm at chestnut and paris. the suspect fired seven rounds and ran down the street. when police arrived the hispanic male suspect took off running then, officers said that he turned towards him. >> the criminal investigation continues into how more than a dozen patients were abandoned by their caregivers for several days at a castro valley assisted care facility. those residents-- many of them elderly, bedridden or in wheelchairs-- are all

safe. either with family or at local hospitals after being evacuated on saturday. kron4's maureen kelly found that the facility where they were living has a long history of problems. >> yellow crime scene tape still blocks this area. the owners had their licenses suspended when thursday. a spokesperson stated that they have been assured that they would be adequately staffed. end end, only to janitors and a cook state combined to help. those unpaid staffer's finally got overwhelmed and called then of forties to help. this complaint list numerous allegations against them having violations. there's also an modesto location that is getting new

administrations. patients were not getting proper care including one incident where a client had a seizure after not getting their medication. one patient with dementia was not properly supervised and went away. the state stated that this facility also have fire code violations. the facility itself was reported late dirty and in disrepair. >> the department of social services stated that they are seeking-tested they will never be able to operate another residential care facility ever again in california or anywhere else. >> the lawyer representing the facility owners has commented on the incident. he clarified that the employees who remained were two caregivers and a dietary supervisor. he also said the owners planned to fight the closure of the facility ordered by social services. >> new spy allegations have u-s allies outraged.

of her sons and two of her daughters that were cut and butchered with a kitchen knife." >> the children ranged in age from just a year old to nine, while their mother was 37. suspect is the husband's 25- year- old cousin. police say he'd been staying in the home, and has made statements implicating himself in the crime. >> sacramento police say one man is dead and six others wounded after a drive-by shooting at a halloween party. witnesses told police that just after 1:30 a.m. sunday a two-door b-m-w drove by and someone inside opened fire on people as they were leaving the event. the victim was a 28-year-old father of three. the six others who were wounded were transported to the hospital and are expected to survive. the party was promoted online. police say the party was illegal because promoters were charging people to attend what was supposed to be a private event.

>> an amusement ride operator is behind bars after investigators say someone tampered with a ride at the north carolina state fair and compromised safety devices. timothy dwayne tutterrow is facing three counts of assault with a deadly weapon. tutterrow was operating the ride when five people were hurt thursday. he's due in court monday. >> chula vista police say they found about five- thousand pounds of marijuana inside a truck after the driver ran a red light. a police officer questioned 19-year-old christopher velazquez during the routine traffic stop saturday night. the officer determined velazquez was unlicensed to drive. before impounding the vehicle, police searched it and discovered the drugs. at this time police say it unclear if the marijuana came from mexico. but officers do say the amount of drugs suggests the driver was working with others but investigators have not reached any conclusions. >> police say a 71-year-old man headed to los angeles is being detained at montreal's international airport. police say they found parts
